Sean Rankin began working for TD Bank in March of 2005 as a relief Customer Service Representative while studying Biology at the University of Ottawa. While completing his studies and over the next 7 years, Sean progressed into a Financial Services Representative, a Financial Advisor and then a Manager of Customer Service. Sean’s entrepreneurial spirit and achievements in client advice lead him back to a sales oriented role wherein July of 2012 he began working as a Mortgage Specialist for TD Bank. He grew into a perennial star where he received annual awards for his funded volume and other key metrics.
In December of 2019, Sean left TD bank to pursue a company of his own as a Mortgage Agent in the Province of Ontario– this was the birth of TopRankinMortgages Inc. Since focusing exclusively in the Real Estate lending industry, Sean has successfully funded thousands of mortgages and over $750MM of total volume. Sean focuses on developing relationships with his clients that make him easily accessible for any financial questions a client may have, a personalized service that makes clients feel empowered while trying to execute their financial endeavors and he also works with some of the best partners in the financial field so that clients always have access to the right answers, no matter what the questions may be.
On his personal time, Sean loves to travel and experience the world. He loves sports, which include hockey, skiing and golf.Sean is also passionate about food and wine and loves experiencing the best cuisine one can find.
Last and certainly not least, Sean’s family comes from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Sean is very passionate about family and he visits Cape Breton on an annual basis. Sean also grew up playing the Scottish fiddle and is also a huge lover of music.
