Ottawa's Mortgage Agent Who Fights for You
Sean Rankin began his career at TD Bank in March 2005 as a Customer Service Representative while studying Biology at the University of Ottawa. Over the next seven years, Sean progressed through Financial Services Representative, Financial Advisor, and Manager of Customer Service. His entrepreneurial spirit and exceptional client advisory skills led him to a sales-oriented role, and in July 2012 he became a Mortgage Specialist at TD Bank, quickly becoming a perennial top performer, receiving annual awards for funded volume and other key metrics including the TD National Top 5 Volume Award, TD Platinum Award, and TD Paragon Award across six consecutive years.
In December 2019, Sean left TD Bank to establish TopRankinMortgages Inc. as an independent Mortgage Agent in Ontario. Since then, he has successfully funded thousands of mortgages totaling over $1 billion. Sean is dedicated to building strong relationships with his clients, offering personalized service that empowers them in their financial decisions. He collaborates with top partners to ensure clients always have access to the best answers for their needs.
TopRankinMortgages is committed to growing with the community, supporting youth sports teams, and participating in local events.
Outside of work, Sean loves to travel, experience different cultures, and enjoy sports including hockey, skiing, and golf. He is passionate about food and wine, and family is central to his life, he visits Cape Breton, Nova Scotia annually and grew up playing the Scottish fiddle.
